I am serving a 25 year to LIFE sentence for selling a small piece of concrete to an undercover officer in violation of the Health and Safety Code--not the Penal Code!  This undercover officer had been pleading with me, in front of my pregnant wife and two children, to sell her some meth--or “anything.”  Even though I berated her for asking this in front of my family, she persisted.  Finally, to get her away from my family, I went to the driveway and picked up a small piece of concrete and sold it to her for $20.00.  I was arrested a block away for the non-violent offense of violating the Health and Safety Code (11355). My children have been without a father to provide for them physically and spiritually since May 15, 1997
