Were you aware that your parents had been (unknowingly)
poisoning you? Were you aware that you
had been (unknowingly) poisoning yourself?
This cumulative and progressive danger is thoroughly exposed
and documented by paralegal Kenneth G. Keel in this new book: Avoiding Trans Fats:
What all Citizens & Prisoners Need to Know.
This poison, trans fatty acids (A.K.A.: trans fats;
partially hydrogenated vegetable oils), had been hidden in many foods,
including cookies and candy, you wanted to eat as a "treat." But this
was no treat at all. It was silently but steadily blocking the oxygenated blood
flowing through your progressively diseased coronary (heart) arteries,
increasing your risk for a heart attack by nineteen percent (19%)!
Likewise, trans fats have been blocking your life-sustaining
oxygenated blood flow to your delicate brain cells (neurons) through all of its
large and small arteries. At the same time as your heart and brain are having
their arteries blocked, the artery blood flow to every man’s penis is also
becoming blocked. This results in impotence (inability to have an erection).
Here is how trans
fats poison your body’s 100 trillion (100,000,000,000,000) cells: Every cell in
your body is surrounded by a living porous cell membrane which is made from
fats. The oxygen and nutrients every cell needs to survive and thrive passes
through its penneable cell membrane. Everything
it makes for your body to survive and thrive, including all of its hormones and
enzymes, also passes through this same porous fatty membrane.
However, trans fats, unlike the healthiest omega-3 fats and
the healthy fats found in canola and olive oils, make every one of your 100
trillion cell membranes stiff and non-porous and not permeable. Therefore, all
the cells of your body cannot "breathe." This means that all of your
body’s cells cannot get enough oxygen and nutrients to function at their
optimum level.
Furthermore, all of your body’s cells cannot eliminate waste
products, including carbon dioxide, which turns the inside of these cells too
acid to function properly. In addition, the solid waste products cannot leave
each of these cells through their stiff and non-porous cell membranes. In
essence, you are urinating and having a bowel movement inside each of your 100 trillion
cells! This causes slowly progressive illness. Having a heart attack or stroke
is the obvious effect from accumulating years of this ongoing cellular injury.
It is now well known that lack of optimal health and ill health also results
nom this chronic form of cellular poisoning!
What you eat is very relevant to the health of every organ
in your body. You are not the same person who was sitting in your seat last year.
All of the cells lining your stomach and intestinal tract are replaced every
three days. Your skin cells are replaced
every six weeks. Your solid organs (kidneys, liver, spleen, heart, and muscles)
contain all new cells every four months. Your bone cells change every six months. And now we know for certain
that every one of your brain cells (neurons) are replaced every year. You
really are what you eat!
When President Eisenhower - the general that led our Army to
victory over the Nazis in World War II - was leaving office, he pointed out the
serious dangers of the Military Industrial Complex. Kenneth G. Keel did more
than just point out the dangers of trans fats in this thorough and accurate Comprehensive
Reference Manual. He exposed the decades of the self- serving Food
Manufacturers Industrial Complex. They would rather increase their profits by a
few pennies per box of cookies, cake, candy, shortening and tub of margarine,
than have any health concern for your heart, brain or the remainder of your
body, or the bodies of your family and friends.
Producing food with trans fats is the most evil action of
corporate capitalistic greed. They did not offer "better living through
chemistry." They offered and promoted more deaths through chemistry, even
after their dangers were so well known and documented!
These food manufacturers are so evil that some major
corporations actually gave millions of dollars of funding to
"researchers" to counter truthful exposes of the incredible danger
and harm caused by their use of trans fats.
These "researchers" published their alleged
"findings" in medical and scientific journals (trade publications).
For many years, these dangerous trans fats were hidden in products that had
never required labels listing the amount of these “Frankenstein fats." All
this is well documented in the article by Mary Enig, Ph.D. (Section #4).
The most prominent medical doctors, who are professors from Harvard Medical School,
published the definitive medical article on this subject in 2006 in the New England Journal of Medicine,
supported by 83 medical and scientific
references. This is the most widely respected medical journal in the world.
Their article, "Trans Fatty Acids and Cardiovascular Disease," is reprinted
with permission in its entirety (in Section #3) in this Comprehensive Reference
Manual. These Harvard Medical School
Professors noted;
“OPTIMAL LEVELS: To determine the optimal level of intake for
a nutrient, both the risks and benefits should be considered. Given the adverse
effects of trans fatty acids on serum
lipid levels, systemic inflammation, and
possibly other risk factors for cardiovascular disease and the positive associations with the risk of CHD
(Coronary Heart Disease), sudden death
from cardiac causes, and possibly diabetes,
the potential for harm is clear. The evidence and magnitude of adverse health
effects of trans fatty acids are in fact far stronger on average than those of
food contaminants or pesticide residues, which have in some cases received considerable
attention.
Furthermore, trans fats from
partially hydrogenated oils have no intrinsic health value above their caloric
value. Thus, from a nutritional standpoint, the consumption of trans fatty
acids results in considerable potential harm but no apparent benefit. In addition,
adverse effects are seen even at low levels of intake: 1 to 3 percent of total
energy intake, or approximately 20 to 60 calories (2 to 7 grams) for a person
consuming 2000 calories per day. Thus, complete or near - complete avoidance of
industrially produced trans fats - consumption of less than 0.5 percent of total
energy intake - may be necessary to avoid adverse effects and would be prudent
to minimize health risks."
In my professional
opinion, any food manufacturer, restaurant or institutional food-service today
using any amount of trans fats in their food should be charged with
manslaughter!
